The Écomusée d'Alsace celebrates 40 years of existence

" An anniversary for all Alsatians! "

1 and 2 June, come along and celebrate the first 40 years of the Écomusée d'Alsace! The museum will take you through these 4 decades, showing how it evolved from a human adventure with a handful of committed individuals to the largest open-air museum in France. Steep yourselves in village life, walking down the specially decorated streets, meeting the volunteers and enthusiasts who, every day, bring all the region’s folk traditions and crafts to life. There’ll be food, gifts, folk dancing, guided tours and demonstrations by craftspeople. Celebrate the anniversary weekend in partnership with the European Collectivity of Alsace, Région Grand-Est, Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération and the Heritage Foundation!
