Jean Becker is a family of winegrowers from father to son since 1610 & Alsace wine merchants since 1848 who live year-round with passion their 3 trades: the vineyard - the cellar with two-hundred-year-old tuns and the Alsace wine trade. The estate's vines have been organically grown for 20 years (1999), with exceptional terroirs such as the Grand Cru Froehn - Sonnenglanz - Schoenenbourg & Schlossberg.
Various events are organized at the CAVEAU de dégustation vente by season: end of year with Christmas Caves - St Etienne - Epiphany - Orthodox Christmas, from spring: Ecotourism on Whit Monday: the organic winemaker's picnic - organic aperitif - sensory tasting - open house. In summer, strolls from mid-July to the end of August in September the Heritage Days - the grape harvest & themed evenings & the Fascinating weekend.
